Volunteer Program & Coordination

Volunteer work is worthwhile and challenging at Springvale Community Aid and Advice Bureau.

What is a Volunteer?

A Volunteer is someone who works of their own free will and without monetary reward to benefit the community.

Our volunteer staff say:

  • I want to help people.
  • I'd like to give something back to a community that helped me.
  • This will support my studies.
  • I hope to increase my confidence.
  • I would like to gain new skills and use the skills I already have.
  • I need to get out of the house.
  • I want to 'try out' a new career direction.
  • I decided to take on a new challenge.
  • I want to gain practical work experience and add to my CV.
  • I wish to work with other like minded people in a supportive environment.
  • I hope to enjoy new friendships, conversations and interests.
  • I need to brush up on my skills and get ready to re-enter the work force.
